By downloading, installing or using Home Disks ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Home Disks is a local backup application that copies photos, videos, contacts and calendar data from an Android phone to a Windows PC or NAS device over your home Wi-Fi network. All data transfer occurs directly between your devices on your local network. No data is sent to or stored on any server operated by ASL Digital Solutions.
The App is available in two tiers:
Pro is purchased through Google Play as a one-time in-app purchase. Refunds are governed by Google Play's refund policy. We do not process payments directly and do not store any payment information.
You are solely responsible for the devices, networks and storage you use with the App. Home Disks copies your files to hardware you own and control. We have no access to, and no responsibility for, the security, availability or integrity of your local devices or network.
You are responsible for maintaining your own backups. While the App is designed to operate reliably, we do not guarantee that every file will be backed up successfully in every circumstance.
You agree not to reverse-engineer, decompile or disassemble the App, or use it to transmit malware or violate any applicable law.
Home Disks, its design, code and branding are the property of ASL Digital Solutions. Your purchase of Pro grants you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the App. It does not transfer ownership of any intellectual property.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted or compatible with every device or network configuration.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ASL Digital Solutions shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including loss of data, arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim related to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for Pro ($9.99), or zero if you use the free tier.
We may update these terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. Your backed-up files remain on your own devices and are unaffected. We may discontinue the App at any time, but your existing installation and backed-up data will continue to function locally.
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.
